My wife and I moved residence nine times during the first twelve years of our marriage.  When Susan and I married we thought we were going to need Moving Company Los Angeles as my employer was planning on sending me to Westwood to open a store. Instead we ended up in Texas, Michigan, Oklahoma, Maryland, Arkansas… It seemed that we were always on the road again.

But now we have lived almost five years in the same location and have no inclination or indication that we will anytime soon be on the road again. It is great to be in friendships without the expectation of being parted a few months down the road. It is great to be able to plant trees for yourself and not for those who come after you.

I can’t help but draw the analogy with Heaven. Nothing there will be temporary. And, I don’t have to call a Los Angeles moving company to get me there. Sounds good to me.
