My Idea Of A Vacation

Back in 1986, twenty-two years ago, I took a two week vacation to England. I spent the entire time traveling around, touring historically significant locations, and learning. That was my idea of a vacation back then. Now that I am an old guy my idea of a vacation has changed. These days I like the idea of beaches, naps, & massages. If I was going to be taking a British holiday now I would be much less inclined to places like Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford and more likely to visit someplace like Butlins Skegness. Consider a line from their website, “Just imagine, unwinding and relaxing and taking a leisurely stroll on the golden sandy beaches and listening to the sea and wildlife around you. It can really give you new focus on life and leave you ready to tackle the world again after your break!” Okay, go ahead and make fun of me for getting old and lazy, but you know that sounds good to you, too. And, you’ll get old too. You can take that to the Vanquis Bank.
